No one should be alone at Christmas

Help ensure that 500 older and isolated people will enjoy Christmas Day

Here at H&F Giving, we believe that no one should be alone at Christmas.

We believe that Christmas should be a time of laughter and of celebration and community. But for so many older people and adults who may have complex lives in our borough, that’s simply not the case.

Instead of unwrapping presents around the tree, many of our older residents and adults will spend the day alone.

Which is why we are delighted to be yet again hosting H&F’s Big Christmas Day Lunch 2025 on the 25th of December. Working in partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Council, we will treat up to 500 residents to a delicious Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. As in previous years, there’ll be dancing, music and laughter and a day to remember.

But to do this, we need your help.

This event is funded by donations, and we are calling on the community to dig deep and support H&F’s Big Christmas Day Lunch 2025.

Please give as much as you can, so that no one is alone this Christmas.

Let’s make this a Christmas to remember

We need to raise £55,000* – and we’re asking for your help to make it happen. Their special day relies entirely on the generosity of local individuals, businesses and foundations.

  • £1,000: Could pay for a whole table of ten people to attend the lunch who otherwise might have been home alone. Give the gift of Christmas this year.
  • £100: Could pay for one resident to attend the lunch. With just £100, you could make someone’s Christmas.
  • £75: Could pay for transportation for one resident, to and from the Novotel Hotel on Christmas Day.
  • £45: Could pay for a meal and goody bag for one of our guests to enjoy with new friends.
  • £10: Could add a bit of sweetness to the day by covering the cost of an after-dinner festive mince pie, warming winter hot drinks & some festive biscuits.

We are looking for 2025 sponsors & larger gifts from local corporates and foundations
