Here at H&F giving and Hammersmith & Fulham Council, we believe that no one should be alone at Christmas, however for so many of our older residents and adults with complex lives, that simply isn’t the case.

Imagine a Christmas day with no one to smile with, no presents to unwrap, no crackers to pull.

That’s why on Christmas Day, we will be hosting our annual H&F’s Big Christmas Day Lunch 2025 for up to 500 members of our community who might otherwise be alone, but we need your help.

Will you help us and sponsor this event to make this Christmas a time of joy and laughter instead of loneliness and isolation?

We are looking for corporate sponsors across the borough to help make this incredible event happen. With your help, on 25 December, guests will enjoy a festive meal at the Novotel London West Hotel, Hammersmith, with entertainment, a gift bag and transportation there and back. We need to raise £55,000*, will you dig deep and support this incredible event?

Earlier this year, H&F Giving released an in-depth report, Building a strong and connected community, which revealed a worrying picture of inequality, poverty and isolation in our borough and highlighted the challenges some of our neighbours are facing.

The report found:

• 49% of people over 65 are income deprived **
• Communities are becoming more isolated, with those aged 18-25, along with older adults, experiencing high levels of loneliness and isolation – reported anecdotally.***

Our research shows that H&F’s Big Christmas Day Lunch has a more important role to play than ever.

Sponsorship Packages

Headline Sponsor: £10,000 donation

• Feature prominently across our comms channels as well as Hammersmith and Fulham Council’s mailing list, which reaches over 25,000 residents of our borough
• Inclusion in any press release and any other external communication
• Sponsor a specific item, from turkeys, to crackers or welcome drinks, you can chose
• Get your staff together for a Christmas team building that gives back and help us pack gift bags for all attendees
• The option for one or two of your company’s branded items or gifts to go into each of 500 gift bags (e.g. chocolates, pens, diaries, water bottles) & banner placement at the event on the day

Sponsor a key element: £5,000

• Your sponsorship attributed to a part of the day such as the entertainment, sponsoring the mince pies, or supporting the costs of our goody bags so we make our residents feel extra special
• A quote from your business and your logo in articles for the council’s e-newsletter, which reaches 25,000 H&F residents
• Feature in H&F Giving’s external comms including e-newsletters and social media

Sponsor a table for ten people to enjoy this special day.

• Your logo on your sponsored table(s), H&F’s Big Christmas Day Lunch 2025 webpages and posts on social media
