
We launched the Winter Support Fund 2025/26 in November 2025, in partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Council. Grants were awarded to community organisations to support projects that directly supported residents needing immediate help or those experiencing financial hardship.
The £180,000 Winter Support Fund was administered by H&F Giving on behalf of H&F Council. Our intention was to fund local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations to support households, including older residents, in Hammersmith & Fulham which otherwise might face crisis and to provide them with food, fuel and support for other essential living costs. We, along with the community organisations we support in Hammersmith & Fulham, are very grateful to H&F Council for supplying the fund.
In December 2025, a panel selected 23 organisations to award (a big thank you to our incredible panel!). We are happy to share the successful grantees below:
Active Successful Engagement CIC (ASÉ)
£10,000 to deliver direct, crisis-focused support for households experiencing financial hardship, with a strong focus on disabled residents, families with children, older people, isolated adults and households facing safety and housing insecurity. This includes food support, help with bills and utilities, and warm winter essentials.
£5,889 to provide a heavily subsidised hot meal every weekday at their Activity Centre, catering for different dietary requirements and cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds, to support older people in the borough.
£7,138 to help towards the salary costs of a Chef for three months and any essential ingredients, to provide breakfast and lunches 5 days a week to those experiencing homelessness, low-income individuals/households, and those with mental health conditions.
£7,041 to increase their healthy surplus food provision and provide relief for residents within the ward of Old Oak & College Park & surrounding wards to help alleviate food poverty.
£10,000 for the purchase of food items, provide help with energy bills, and supply winter clothing essentials and electricals to single parents, their children, and families experiencing hardship.
£7,870 to fund essential items including Oyster Cards, electric blankets & heaters, fuel payments, and pre-loaded vouchers for food, clothing, and hygiene items to those in need.
Hammersmith & Fulham Youth Zone (WEST)
£7,138 to offer a free hot meal to every young person from Hammersmith and Fulham attending WEST, who will also be able to take part in activities offered and receive wellbeing support.
£7,138 to provide food and fuel vouchers and other essential support items to families and individuals as part of their broader work to tackle the barriers faced by people from minority communities in Hammersmith & Fulham.
£5,711 to provide essential winter support to families of children and young people with disabilities living in Hammersmith & Fulham including supermarket vouchers, emergency food parcels, and fuel and utility vouchers.
£9,980 to provide essential winter support with a special focus on East and North African communities throughout the Borough, in the form of food vouchers and support with utility bills, as well as by providing advice services on debt, budgeting, and navigating the benefits system.
Mothers & Children Foundation Ltd
£5,290 to provide support to women and families in the borough through the distribution of food parcels (cultural food and meat), help with bill payments, and sessions offering budgeting and debt advice and help with applying for benefits, as well as advice on shopping and cooking cheaply.
£10,000 to run another distribution of their “Meal Voucher Scheme” which has provided residents with access to a nutritious three-course meal and hot drink completely free of charge, ensuring that those facing financial hardship could continue to enjoy a dignified dining experience at the Hub.
Off the Streets Less Heat CIC
£7,138 to provide food support, warming winter essentials such as blankets and clothing, and advice services in Hammersmith & Fulham designed to reduce hardship, improve wellbeing and strengthen health equity.
£9,500 to offer food and utility vouchers for users of the White City Community Food Hub they run, as well as to purchase stock for the hub itself to continue to distribute provisions for those in need in the local community.
£7,138 to provide a range of essentials including food parcels, energy bill help, essential white and electrical goods, and sanitary products to all areas and groups in the borough who are facing hardship.
£3,296 to expand their existing support by providing essential clothing, winter items, and necessities to women and families in Hammersmith & Fulham who are experiencing financial hardship, isolation, or crisis.
£10,000 to distribute food vouchers as well as hygiene and self-care packages for families and older & isolated residents and young people that access SEAPIA’s youth service.
Shepherds Bush Families Project
£9,100 to provide food and essential items, including nappies and baby milk, to families in the community, as well as food vouchers, help with utility bills, and the purchase of essential household items and white goods.
£10,000 to support families to meet their basic needs and keep children safe and warm with practical, direct help through the form of supermarket vouchers, school uniforms and winter clothing, and energy support.
£10,000 to provide supermarket vouchers to families and to those ages over 65 who are experiencing the most need in the borough.
£7,138 to provide food and fuel vouchers, as well as some essential goods, to those struggling with the cost of living and experiencing food poverty with a focus on older, isolated or bedridden residents, low-income families with children under 5, and those with learning or physical disabilities.
£5,724 to offer £400 microgrants to local community groups to host culturally meaningful dining events that bring neighbours together through shared food, storytelling and cultural celebration, as well as provide a twice weekly winter warmer breakfast.
£7,138 to provide community dining events to low-income households in White City, as well as provide supermarket vouchers at these sessions to low-income households, single parents, those living with a disability or chronic illness and those over the age of 65.
