We’re delighted to announce our latest community project – The Sharing Table: A Community Cookbook.
The Sharing Table is a collection of much-loved recipes and family favourites that has been compiled from a range of local Hammersmith & Fulham residents. The recipes are simple to make and don’t ask for any specialist ingredients. It will be distributed to local people with a focus on those most at need including Nourish Hub, H&F Food Bank and West London Welcome amongst others.
At the launch event, on 26 April 2022, we also played a little game of “Food Bingo” a foodie-twist on the much loved game. It was fun and engaging and a great way to connect with some new people and reconnect with some old faces. The winners were lucky enough to receive freshly produced honey, courtesy of Bees & refugees (did you know, honey is the only food item that doesn’t go off).
We hope everyone who attended enjoyed it as much as we did and it was so nice seeing such a great response to the event. We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Immediate Media for hosting the launch.
