Humans of Hammersmith & Fulham
Humans of Hammersmith & Fulham: Touring Exhibition
Humans of Hammersmith & Fulham presents the faces and words of the borough’s incredibly diverse population through photographs and interviews, helping to build a community where people feel safe, valued and connected.
The focus of this creative project has been collecting photographs and interviews to form a living catalogue of individuals from Old Oak to Sands End and inspire belonging, sharing, and inclusion for all. The exhibition depicts strangers, who are also our neighbours. We hope that it dismantles prejudice and exclusion, while inspiring belonging, discussion and sharing.
Savraj Kaur BEM, Executive Director of H&F Giving, produced the project in collaboration with portrait photographer Nahwand Jaff. Nahwand is a London-based photographer specialising in documentary and portraiture work. He has worked with many corporations and NGOs both locally and internationally. He aims to inspire social change while authentically capturing his subjects’ unique characteristics.
