How to Get Support
H&F Giving awards grants to support causes across our borough, using a variety of funds set up with support from local individuals, statutory groups and businesses.
We know that applying for funding can be challenging, so we try to make it as simple as possible. Please read the general guidance carefully before starting an application and contact us if you have any questions.
Decisions on the allocation of funding is made by two panels who live, work or volunteer in the area of benefit. Panel members usually meet three times a year to consider applications. Our Community Panel comprises residents with lived experience of issues and services in the borough.

Summer Household Support Fund
Working in partnership with H&F Giving, the council’s Summer Household Support Fund grants have gone directly to charities supporting residents with the cost of food, energy bills and essential items.

Funding Amount: £240,000
Pedal Gives Back
This partnership allowed local bike shop Pedal Back to professionally restore bicycles for those who couldn’t afford one, in order to encourage people to cycle around the borough, as part of a wider recycling scheme in conjunction with National Rail.

Winter Wellbeing Fund
Aid to grassroots projects assisting local H&F residents during the Covid-19 pandemic

Tackling Domestic Violence
Supporting London charity Advance helping to change attitudes and make Hammersmith & Fulham a safer borough for women.
