Café Bridge success raises thousands
On the 17th July 2024, over 200 bridge players joined the inaugural Café Bridge event in Parsons Green.
The event sold out in record time and there was a real buzz around the green, with people playing their hands across 8 different cafés, bars and restaurants. This was a really fun and sociable way to play bridge while supporting those most in need in the borough.
Everyone was invited to join together at the Andrew Robson Bridge Club for the awards ceremony, drinks reception and raffle, with the phenomenal Andrew Robson OBE, an influential charity supporter, England player and Times columnist, giving away some fantastic prizes. Bridge players old and new, and at every level had an amazing day together on Parsons Green.
The event raised a phenomenal £5,150, that will directly support H&F Giving’s efforts to empower the local community. This event was not just about playing bridge; it was also about making a tangible difference in Hammersmith and Fulham.
